Privacy statement

This website is a marketing site for FatCloud and its ventures. We have tried to keep it as privacy-respecting as possible: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, and no analytics unless you switch it on yourself.
Data we collect
We do not collect personal data on this website. No account sign-up, no forms that store information server-side. The only data you intentionally share is the content of any email you decide to send us.
Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies at all. We do use your browser’s local storage for two strictly necessary things: the language you choose with the EN/NL switch, and the choice you make in the cookie banner. Both stay on your device, are never shared, and do not identify you. Optional anonymous analytics stays off until you consent to it in that banner — and you can change your mind at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
Language selection
Your chosen language is reflected in the URL (for example /nl/about). On a first visit we send you to the Dutch version if your browser lists Dutch among its preferred languages. That check happens in your browser using the language list your browser already sends — we do not look up your IP address or your location. Picking EN or NL yourself overrides it for good.
Logs
Our hosting provider may keep short-lived server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and diagnostic purposes. These are not used for tracking and are not shared with third parties.
Email contact
When you email info@fatcloud.nl we receive your message and reply address. We use that only to respond to your inquiry and will not add you to any marketing list.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. For any of these requests, email info@fatcloud.nl.

We will post any material changes to this statement on this page and update the date above.
