Services

Backends that are still standing in three years.

The API, the data model, the auth, the jobs that run at 3am. It is the least visible part of a product and the part that decides whether the rest of it survives. We build it as the load-bearing thing it is.

What this is

The layer everything else depends on.

Most of what we build for clients sits behind something else — a web app, a mobile app, a partner integration. That means the backend has to outlive whatever is calling it today. We write typed, tested services with data models that can be extended rather than worked around, and we leave you documentation and a deployment you can run without us.

Usually built with

  • NestJS
  • TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL
  • Prisma
  • Docker
  • GitHub Actions

What you get

  • A typed API

REST or GraphQL, generated types shared with your frontend, and an OpenAPI spec your other teams can build against.

  • A data model that holds

Schema, migrations, and constraints in version control. Changes ship through migrations, not manual edits to production.

  • Auth and permissions

Sessions or tokens, roles, and audit trails — done once, properly, instead of accreting across the codebase.

  • Deploys and observability

CI, staged environments, structured logging, and alerting, so a problem at 3am is something you can see rather than guess at.

Fit

This is probably right if…

  • You have a frontend or an app and no backend team to support it.
  • Your current API grew organically and is now the reason releases are slow.
  • You need integrations with systems you do not control, and they need to not fall over.
  • Someone has to own uptime and right now that is nobody.
